Parts of the Eyes
Hi Ladies..
I’d like to
write about the parts of the eye because some people (I was) get confused when
apply make up, especially on the eyes area. Okay, let’s begin.
a. The whole
lid is the entire area of the lid from the tail of eyebrow up to the eye bag.
b. The upper
eyelid is starting from the crease up to below the eyebrow.
c. The lid
below the crease is the area below the crease up to the upper lash line.
d. The crease
area is the line on the eye that can be seen clearly when the eye is open. When
apply the eyeshadow, you must apply the base/primer first to avoid the
eyeshadow from creasing when it mix with natural oil or sweat.
e. The inner
corner of the eye is located near the inner tear duct area, and you can find it
easier when the eye is close.
f. The outer
corner of the eye is located near the outer tear duct, and you can find it
easier when the eye is close, too.
g. The brow
bone is the area below the tail of eyebrow.
h. The eye
socket is the hollow area that can be seen when gently press the space between brow
bone and eye ball.
i. The upper
lash line is the area where upper lashes are.
j. The
waterline is the rimmed edge between eye ball and lash line.
k. The lower
lash line is the area where lower lashes are.
l. The lower
lid is commonly known as the eye bag area or dark circle area.
Pheew, now we
know about the parts of the eyes. Thanks and take care, Ladies. Smooch!
